Scapular winging involves one or both shoulder blades sticking out from the back rather than lying flat. It can happen as a result of injury or nerve damage.

Dr. Eichinger lectured on Arthroscopic and Open Shoulder Stability Surgical Treatment at the AANA (Arthroscopy Association of North America) 5th Annual Fellow and Chief Residents Arthroscopy Course in Chicago, Illinois at the AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons) Orthopedic Learning Center.
