Injuries to the distal biceps tendon are not uncommon. Most often occurring in middle-aged men, these injuries often occur when lifting heavy objects. Over 90 percent of distal biceps tendon tears occur in men.

Dr. Eichinger delivered a lecture during a webinar for Arthroscopy Association of North America discussing complex shoulder instability with bone loss on the glenoid. Dr. Eichinger is an expert in shoulder instability including the management of failed instability surgery and glenoid bone loss.
Dr. Eichinger lectured on Arthroscopic and Open Shoulder Stability Surgical Treatment at the AANA (Arthroscopy Association of North America) 5th Annual Fellow and Chief Residents Arthroscopy Course in Chicago, Illinois at the AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons) Orthopedic Learning Center.
